When I decided to become a doula, I wanted to give moms and their partners the utmost attention and support during their journey through parenthood. I learned firsthand how important and valuable having a doula is. In 2018 I became a client of Annapolis Area Doulas. I was having my second child and my first non-medicated birth. The amount of emotional, mental, and physical support I received was immense. I felt empowered to confidently make decisions surrounding the birth of my child. My doula was such an incredible blessing to me and my family. In that moment I realized that I wanted to be that blessing to families as well! My goal is to assist moms in becoming more knowledgeable about childbirth and to birth without fear. While not all births are the same, the tender love and care given by doulas is the one thing that remains constant. I am very passionate about giving moms and their partners the guidance and support they need to make decisions for their babies and themselves.
I live in Southern Maryland with my amazing husband of six years alongside our two incredible sons! We are so excited to welcome a new baby into our family in April of 2021! When I am not doing birth work with families, I am spending quality time with my loved ones or working on my homegrown business, creating maternal care baskets to help mommas with prenatal and postnatal care. There is nothing more rewarding than helping and caring for moms during the most amazing journey of their lives. I am honored to embark on this journey with each mother, whether this is her first birth or her fifth!
