If you’re in that hungry-all-the-time, nursing-a-baby, haven’t-sat-down-to-eat-a-real-meal-in-days phase… these are for you.
Ingredients:
• 1 ½ cups oats
• ½ cup peanut butter or almond butter
• ⅓ cup honey or maple syrup
• ¼ cup ground flaxseed
• 2 tbsp brewer’s yeast (optional, but great for milk supply)
• ½ cup mini chocolate chips or raisins
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
Directions:
Mix it all up, roll into little balls, and chill for 30 minutes. Boom—snacks for the week.
Why they’re magic:
✔️ One-handed snacking approved
✔️ Great for milk supply
✔️ Actually taste good (even your partner will steal them)
These no-bake lactation bites are my secret weapon for surviving postpartum hunger. You can whip them up during a contact nap, eat them one-handed, and feel like you’ve got your life somewhat together. Oats, flax, and peanut butter for the win! 🙌
Bonus: they double as toddler bribery snacks. Don’t ask me how I know.
